H216 Adapter and withdrawal sleeves are used to locate bearings with a tapered bore on plain or stepped shafts. They facilitate bearing mounting and dismounting and, in many cases, simplify bearing arrangement design. This series of metric adapter assemblies accommodate standard small-bore bearings. They are the most commonly used method for locating tapered bore balls or roller bearings onto a cylindrical shaft. This series of adapters are used with 12 and 13 series self-aligning ball bearings, and 213 and 222 series spherical roller bearings.
